Detective Tracey Schofield with the Brooksville Police Department presented the Healthy Families Pasco-Hernando program with $500 in diapers of a variety of sizes on behalf of the Police and Kids Foundation. Healthy Families is a program of Pasco Kids First and provides home visiting services to parents who are pregnant or have a newborn teaching them positive parenting skills and assisting with goal setting to improve self-sufficiency. The Police and Kids Foundation assists children with an immediate need and provides scholarships for high school seniors to attend a Criminal Justice Academy.
