14 year old Gulf High Student, Amanda Moore, once again made Christmas one to remember for three families in the Pasco Kids First Healthy Families Program. Amanda raises funds all year long by selling candy bars at the bowling alley in order to sponsor kids and their parents who are having a challenging time during the holidays. She spends many hours shopping, wrapping and delivering the gifts as Santa’s Helper to their home with her uncle dressed as Santa. Amanda began sponsoring families in 2013 and has raised more than $10,000 to help families in need. In addition to providing gifts, Amanda donated coats to patients at Good Samaritan Clinic and continues to volunteer weekly at James Malowe Elementary School.
